Madison Danielle Davenport was born November 22, 1996 in San Antonio, Texas. From a very young age Madison had a flair for drama, making people watch little shows she would perform from them. To put that energy to good use, Madison started taking acting classes and participated in several musicals. When Madison was five, her amazing singing skills and love for the theater prompted the family’s move from Texas to Hollywood. It did not take long for industry professionals to recognize this amazing young talent and Madison started booking shortly after arriving.
Over the past decade, Madison has been building her resume at a fast pace. Starting with commercials for companies like Kodak and Comcast, Madison gradually made her enterance in the television world, with guest appearances on TV shows like Bones, CSI: NY and Close to Home. All her voice acting builded up to her first major booking in 2006: she booked a supporting role in the animated feature film Over The Hedge.
Madison's voice is not only very suitable for voiceover work, she also has a very impressive singing voice. In 2008, she got the opportunity to showcase her lovely voice as the lead part of Sophiana in the family Christmas movie Christmas Is Here Again, which also stars the voices of Kathy Bates, Jay Leno, and Shirley Jones. 2008 was good year for Madison in general, as she finally booked the part that would put her on the map in Hollywood. She booked a lead role in Picturehouse/HBO's feature film Kit Kittredge: An American Girl. In the film, Madison plays the character of Ruthie Smithens, best friend of Kit, portrayed by Abigail Breslin.
But Madison did not stop there. She continued to develop her dramatic acting skills with television guest appearances on major shows like ER, CSI: Crime Scene Investigation, House MD and Criminal Minds. Not only did she book guest appearances, she also had several opportunities to grace our screens as a series regular, for example in Shameless and Save Me. She currently portrays the character of Kate as a series regular on Robert Rodriguez's remake of the likewise called movie, From Dusk Till Dawn on the El Rey Network. The series has received a tremendous amount of praise and continues to grace our television screens.
But if you think that is all Madison is working on right now, you are wrong. She has not been sitting still on the silver screen either. Starring in movies such as Darren Aronofsky's highly anticipated Noah and the Tina Fey and Amy Poehler comedy Sisters, she continues to build her never ending resume.
